Wild Rice River Rising Fast
Authorities in Norman County say the Wild Rice River is rising fast, forcing the closure of several roads.
ABERCROMBIE, N.D. (AP) - Authorities in Norman County say the
Wild Rice River is rising fast, forcing the closure of several
roads.
The river near Abercrombie, south of Fargo, rose 3 to 4 feet
Friday night into Saturday.
County emergency manager Kevin Ruud says a handful of roads have
been closed, but predicted a total of 40 to 50 would be shuttered
before the river recedes.
