NDSC to offer self protection, predator awareness class in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 - The North Dakota Safety Council (NDSC) is offering a Self Protection & Predator Awareness course that will improve attendee's personal safety. This course is being offered Sept. 28 and Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Grand Forks at Altru Health.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 - The North Dakota Safety Council (NDSC) is offering a Self Protection & Predator Awareness course that will improve attendee's personal safety. This course is being offered Sept. 28 and Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Grand Forks at Altru Health.

During the classroom session, the instructor will arm attendees with the knowledge to recognize, avoid and handle stalkers and predators. Then, attendees will receive two hours of hands-on-training where they will learn simple techniques to escape an attacker. Course is appropriate for ages 13 and older.
