Three Affiliated Tribes Get Funding To Help Combat Diabetes
North Dakota's congressional delegation says the Three Affiliated Tribes is getting more than $1.2 million in federal money to help combat diabetes on the Fort Berthold Reservation.
NEW TOWN, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota's congressional delegation
says the Three Affiliated Tribes is getting more than $1.2 million
in federal money to help combat diabetes on the Fort Berthold
Reservation.
Sens. Byron Dorgan and Kent Conrad and Rep. Earl Pomeroy say the
grant funds are through the U.S. Department of Health and Human
Services.
The money will be used for a project that will focus on both
diabetes prevention and treatment.
