Investigation continues in rural Roseau County drug bust

Authorities are investigating a drug bust in rural Roseau County. Officers netted more than 30 marijuana plants and a large sum of cash Friday.

Authorities are investigating a drug bust in rural Roseau County. Officers netted more than 30 marijuana plants and a large sum of cash Friday.

The drug bust, north of Roosevelt, MN, was the result of coordination between several law enforcement agencies. The US Border Patrol suspected drug activity at a residence in the county and following surveillance, the BCA, Border Patrol, Roseau County Sheriff, and the Roseau Police Department searched the property. Up to 15 officers were involved in the search.

The case remains under investigation by the BCA. No charges have yet been filed.
