Moose sighting at Bismarck golf course

Instead of double bogeys people were doing double takes at a Bismarck golf course. A young bull moose was sighted at Pebble Creek Golf Course near the Golf Dome. It was nibbling on some branches near a slough on the northwest side of the course and eventually went for a swim.

Instead of double bogeys people were doing double takes at a Bismarck golf course. A young bull moose was sighted at Pebble Creek Golf Course near the Golf Dome. It was nibbling on some branches near a slough on the northwest side of the course and eventually went for a swim. One spectator says she saw it as early as 4am and dozens stopped by to snap photos and to take a look. The moose seemed completely at ease and unconcerned at his growing celebrity.

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department and Bismarck Police are keeping an eye on the moose. They say the young bull is not causing any problems and unless it becomes a safety hazard they'll just let it be.
