International Ag Conference coming to Fargo in 2016

Fargo has landed a huge International Agriculture Conference making its first appearance in the United States. The Agricultural Biotechnology International Conference, or ABIC will come to Fargo for its 20th year in 2016. More than 60 countries around the world have attended past conferences.

Fargo has landed a huge International Agriculture Conference making its first appearance in the United States. The Agricultural Biotechnology International Conference, or ABIC will come to Fargo for its 20th year in 2016. More than 60 countries around the world have attended past conferences.

NDSU will co-host the event, showcasing the partnership between University research and private industry.

AdFarm CEO Roger Reierson said, "It's an ideal geographic location, rich in ag history. Certainly, with the backbone of NDSU and their research and agricultural people here, we feel that Fargo is the ideal spot."

Other host communities have included Saskatoon, Cologne, Germany and Melbourne, Australia.
