New developments Thursday in connection with the jailed Fargo mom who is being held in the Cass County jail on a contempt charge. As we first reported to you in a special investigative report Wednesday, Katina Tengesdal refuses to go along with a judge's order for unsupervised grandparent visitiation involving her 7-year old daughter and Katina's parents.

New developments Thursday in connection with the jailed Fargo mom who is being held in the Cass County jail on a contempt charge. As we first reported to you in a special investigative report Wednesday, Katina Tengesdal refuses to go along with a judge's order for unsupervised grandparent visitiation involving her 7-year old daughter and Katina's parents. A public hearing got scheduled for Thursday afternoon in Cass District Court.

Katina did receive a public defender. Gordon Dexheimer would answer no questions Thursday. As we reported Wednesday, Judge Herman ordered Katina to jail on a contempt charge after she refused to let her 7 year old have unsupervised visitation with grandparents. Katina has concerns about the safety of her daughter. Our story outlined North Dakota Attorney General BCI investigations into alleged sexual abuse. No charges were filed.

Despite the hearing Thursday afternoon, Judge Herman refused to release Katina and she remains in the Cass County jail Thursday night.
