FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A Fargo jail inmate is accused of having a drug mailed to him behind bars and then dealing it to other inmates.

Andrew Harlan Stenerson is 21 or 22 years old and is from Adams.

The Forum reports he's been charged in Cass County with two felonies: delivery of buprenorphine and possession of a controlled substance by an inmate.

Buprenorphine is also known as suboxone. It's a prescription narcotic used to treat opiate dependence, such as heroin addiction.

Authorities say Stenerson received the drug by having it placed under stamps on letters addressed to him and other inmates.
