Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo Police have arrested a man they say was posing as a bounty hunter in the area.

Anthony Greeno and four members of Northern Bounty Fugitive Enforcement are charged in the incident.

The local company Northern Bounty Enforcement and a South Carolina bounty hunter Anthony Greeno were trying to track down a man who had skipped out on court.

They ended up knocking down of an apartment - only to find it was the wrong address.

According to court documents, Rebecca Sundeen reported a break-in at her Fargo apartment September 29th.

When police contacted members of the bounty-hunting business, they denied any involvement.

Two of those involved turned themselves in, while Greeno and Tanner Olson were arrested in West Fargo.

Greeno is charged with criminal trespass, giving false information to law enforcement, and criminal mischief.

The bounty hunters had given police a tip leading to the arrest of Jessica Jones earlier this month.

But Fargo Police insist they are not affiliated with the group, who don't appear to be licensed bounty hunters.

Lt. Joel Vettel/Fargo Police Department: "We want to make sure they do not make that mistake again in our community. We're not going to tolerate that kind of behavior in our community and when it happens we are going to work with our prosecutor’s office to ensure that those individuals are charged for that crime."

Calls to Northern Bounty Fugitive Enforcement were not returned.

Police say additional charges may be filed.

Court documents say Greeno made threats toward other members of the group, if they talked to police.
