Leith city council takes stronger stance against white supremacists

The battle to keep White Supremacists out of Leith, North Dakota keeps intensifying. The city council met Sunday night and ok'd a building ban on new construction and mobile homes.

The battle to keep White Supremacists out of Leith, North Dakota keeps intensifying. The city council met Sunday night and ok'd a building ban on new construction and mobile homes.

But Craig Cobb told WDAZ Monday he will be asking for a court injunction to stop the ordinance. He says he is working with a regional Housing office on his complaint. The council is also working on new rules requiring water and sewer service to homes.

And leaders want another ordinance to prevent tents and campers in town longer than 10 days. Cobb was at the Sunday meeting. He called the residents mean and nasty and the new rules, patently unfair. Cobb still lives in his house with three other White Supremacists and two children. There is no water or sewer at the house.
