Day three of the 10 day lunar habitat study

It's day three of a 10 day lunar habitat study, the University of North Dakota is conducting for NASA. Three students began living in the habitat early Sunday morning, and once the habitat doors close - they don't open.

It's day three of a 10 day lunar habitat study, the University of North Dakota is conducting for NASA.

Three students began living in the habitat early Sunday morning, and once the habitat doors close - they don't open.

Tuesday, the astronauts will perform a moon-walk by going out in the lunar rover, this is the first time in the 10 day study they will use the lunar suits. The moon-walk will test the compatibility of the suit and rover when performing various activities that taking samples.

Helping the astronauts from the outside is a 12-person group acting as "mission control". The lunar habitat, rover and suits that were built and designed by students and faculty thanks to a grant through NASA, the results will then be used in a 30 day study next spring.
