UND students are holding a food and toiletries drive this week to benefit local families. French Club members say they got the idea during the government shutdown when dozens of programs were seeing cuts. All donations will go to St. Joseph's Food Pantry in Grand Forks.

Students say even though the government shutdown ended it's an important time of year to give back to those in need.

The drive continues tomorrow through Friday from 10 a-m to 4 p-m at the Memorial Union Loading Dock.
