40,000 fewer licenses will mean 20,000 fewer deer. For the butchers in the middle of the state, that could be make-or-break.

"It's just one of those situations you have no control over so I don't need to lose anymore hair so I don't worry about it," Prime Cuts Meats Owner, Tim Skauge said.

The North Dakota gun season begins at 12:00 PM Friday--the Minnesota Season begins Saturday morning.
