MSUM admissions director resignsAfter three months on the job, Minnesota State University Moorhead’s new admissions director has resigned.
MOORHEAD, Minn. — After three months on the job, Minnesota State University Moorhead’s new admissions director has resigned.
Rance Larsen came to Moorhead from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in August to oversee the admissions department after a national search.
His last day was Nov. 8.
When reached for comment, Larsen said he did not want to discuss his resignation.
The admissions director oversees a staff of about 18 people who counsel prospective students, visit high schools, process applications and enroll students.
MSUM will launch another national search for his replacement, said spokesman David Wahlberg. Meanwhile, the vice president for enrollment and senior admissions staff will carry out duties within the department.
Wahlberg said the search process takes about two to three months.
