Sioux get second seed in NCAA Northeast Regional
UND to play Yale on Saturday
GRAND FORKS -- The University of North Dakota men's hockey team has been seeded second in the NCAA Northeast Regional, and will play third-seed Yale on Saturday in Worcester, Mass.
The NCAA tournament pairings were announced Sunday.
The UND-Yale game is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. central time Saturday.
The other matchup in Worcester finds top-seed Boston College meeting Alaska at 12:30 central time.
The games are scheduled to be televised on ESPN360.
North Dakota is 25-12-5 after winning the WCHA Final Five championship Saturday in St. Paul.
Yale is 20-9-3 after losing its best-of-three ECAC quarterfinal series to Brown March 12-14. Yale won the ECAC regular season title.
