The white supremacist seeking to take over Leith, N.D., is apparently part black, according to several news reports.
Craig Cobb submitted to a DNA test as part of The Trisha Goddard Show, a syndicated talk show, and was told by the host that he is 14 percent sub-Saharan African and 86 percent European, according to a clip shown on Huffington Post.
The audience reacted gleefully while Cobb said, "Wait a minute, this is called statistical noise."
"I tell you what, oil and water don't mix," he added.
Goddard attempted to fist bump Cobb, calling him "bro" but he declined.
Cobb has been buying up land in Leith, a town of 19 southwest of Bismarck, and giving them away to fellow white supremacists. The goal is to out vote the town's original residents and turn it into a haven for those who share his beliefs.
Leith residents have been trying to stop him. Mayor Ryan schock has said he might give away his own land to encourage nonracists to move to Leith.
Though the Trisha Goddard show episode is not expected to air until Nov. 18, news of Cobb's blackness has been making the rounds on news websites.
