Brossart sons set to face trial

A Lakota farmer is found guilty of terrorizing officers and now, his sons are set to face trial.

Judge Joel Medd has set the trials of Rodney Brossart's three sons for Jan. 21. Each is charged with terrorizing for allegedly brandishing weapons at law enforcement the day Rodney was arrested in June 2011.

The maximum penalty is five years on the charge.

Rodney will be sentenced Jan. 14. On November 7th, a Grand Forks jury found him guilty of terrorizing officers after cattle wandered on his property.
