All eyes on the weather on the eve of the busiest travel day of the year. A deadly storm working its way through the Southeast is expected to threaten holiday travel and the iconic Thanksgiving Day Macy's parade.

As the storm heads east, scores of flights have already been canceled... But here in Grand Forks, we seem to be in the clear.

Most define the Thanksgiving travel period as starting Wednesday and running through Sunday. AAA projects that travel will be down 1.5 percent from last year. But today, there were plenty of people in Grand Forks who were already heading out to see friends and family for the holiday. Cynthia Johnson reports.
