UND football assistant is finalist for top job at Southwest State
Greg Breitbach has been with UND four seasons
GRAND FORKS -- University of North Dakota offensive coordinator Greg Breitbach is one of two finalists to be the next head coach at Southwest Minnesota State.
Breitbach will be invited to the Marshall, Minn., campus for an interview this week, along with the other finalist, Southwest Minnesota State interim head coach Cory Sauter.
Sauter filled the role in February after the resignation of Eric Eidsness, who took an assistant coaching position at South Dakota State.
Breitbach has been with UND for four years, the last two as offensive coordinator. He coached running backs in his first two seasons with the Fighting Sioux.
