Congress has less than a month left to pass a farm bill before the consequences would hit producers and consumers. North Dakota politicians say there's only one more chance to get a bill passed before the calendar flips to 2014.

The start of 2014 is when we'd start to feel the impact from not having a new farm bill. But there is hope that a last minute deal can be reached in Washington.

Senator Heitkamp says there's hope congress can come to a general agreement by Monday, and hopefully pass the final bill by the weekend before Christmas.
