Santa's Village in Grand Forks is opening Thursday evening! Santa and his elves have set up a workshop inside the Lincoln Golf Course Clubhouse with two weekends of holiday activities for families.

More than 30 trees are on display, each decorated with a different theme. Families can make crafts, play games and listen to holiday music. Cookies and apple cider will be offered so everyone can stay warm. There will also be a chance to hop on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Santa and Mrs. Claus are coming from the North Pole to Santa's Village on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Special Events Manager / Head Elf Lynne Toche said, "We suggest that everyone bring a canned good, a toy to share with CVIC and or a monetary donation and that would go for scholarships for children and just come in and enjoy. Everything is free we just ask that you bring that so we can give back to the community."

Santa's Village is at Lincoln Golf Course in Grand Forks. It will be open this weekend and next weekend. The event is free and open to the public.
