ELLSWORTH, Wis. -- An Ellsworth man was charged last week with three counts of sexual assault of a child and two counts of incest.
According to a criminal complaint, the Pierce County Human Services Department was notified last month of a possible assault involving Charles Kenneth Dallman, 42, and a 14-year-old girl.
The girl told a sheriff’s investigator and the human services office that since August, she had showed her nude body to Dallman about 30 times and alleged that on some of those occasions, Dallman touched her female body parts.
She also alleged that she was forced to perform oral sex on Dallman or he would be mean to her, the complaint says. She said Dallman pressured her not to tell law enforcement officials anything.
Dallman admitted he talked to the girl about sex and told investigators their relationship was “very close,” according to the complaint, but he denied the girl’s allegations.
All five charges are Class C felonies. If found guilty, Dallman could receive a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison and/or a $100,000 fine.
He was being held on a $10,000 bond. His next court appearance is set for Jan. 6
