There's no question the valley has lotto fever, with lottery tickets flying out of stores ahead of Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing. Strong sales has pushed Tuesday's jackpot to a whopping $636 million.

Nearly everyone who has walked into the Holiday Convenience store in East Grand Forks has walked out with a lottery ticket. Desirae Seeger with Holiday says Tuesday's sales have dwarfed those for the last jackpot drawing which was $425 million, nothing to sneeze at.

Holiday always sees a lot of lotto players, but Seeger says the latest jackpot has inspired a new level of excitement for Mega Millions.

Desirae Seeger said, "We sell a lot of lottery here. Pretty much every transaction we do we sell lotto, so it's not that big of a thing. It's more on the machine than scratch offs."

We'll find out Tuesday if anyone will strike it rich. The Mega Millions drawing is set for 10 PM Central time.
