The temperature drops can shrink the rubber on the outside of your tires and the air inside, causing the seals to break. Experts say that your best move is to consistently monitor your air pressure, and get your tires looked at quickly if you see a flat.

For every 10 degree drop in temperature, there is a 1 degree drop in tire pressure.
