The 41st annual community free Christmas Eve dinner will happen Tuesday night at the St. Michael's Youth Center. The event is open to anyone who may be alone on Christmas or just needs a hot meal.

The dinner includes all of the regular Christmas meal fixings, mashed potatoes, vegetables and turkey.

There will also be music entertainment, gifts and Santa Clause.

Sue Shirek said, "we want everybody to feel like they're a part of something at Christmas and to feel the Christmas spirit. And to know that they have others that care about them in the community. We don't want people to be alone if they don't have to or to not be able to afford a meal."

The dinner will be from 3 to 6 PM. Rides to the meal are available.

People can also have the meals to go or have them delivered.
