Travelers still looking to make it to their Christmas destination will be facing some hazardous weather conditions in the early hours of Christmas Eve.
Right now travelers are just battling bitter cold, but Tuesday morning high winds could give drivers a bit of a headache.
That wind will cause a bit of blowing and drifting, but nothing too severe to make people cancel their travel plans, but enough that they'll hopefully plan ahead. With that wind we'll have off and on snow throughout the day, but with all of this bad there is some good as we'll be looking at a warm up into the positive teens.
Meteorologist Greg Gust said, "Plan and realize it could be a little slippery in spots it could be reduced visibility, somewhat, but not enough to shut things down."
Tuesday we could be looking at receiving up to 3 inches of snow.
