Corral Lanes Building For Sale
The city of Crookston could be losing its only bowling alley. The owner of Corral Lanes is trying to find someone to buy the building.By: Renee Chmiel, WDAZ
If the building is to remain a bowling alley, he's running out of time. Stephen Vosika lives in Bemidji, where he owns one bowling alley and is building a new one. He wasn't able to run the bowling center in Crookston from Bemidji, and it's been closed for about a year now. The bowling equipment is still in the building, but if Vosika doesn't sell it by April 15th, he'll have to take the equipment out and use it for the new bowling center in Bemidji. He says so far there hasn't been much interest, but he's hoping someone will come forward and buy the building.
"The city should have a bowling center, from my thoughts, but somebody who most likely lives there and has a hands-on operation," said Vosika.
Vosika is asking $400,000 for the building, if he's able to sell it as a bowling center.
