RED LAKE, Minn. (AP) - A grand jury has indicted a Ponemah man
in a crash that killed his passenger on the Red Lake Indian
Reservation.
Prosecutors say 61-year-old Bruce Wilson Dow was drunk when his
vehicle rolled over after he lost control of it last October. The
passenger was thrown from the vehicle and later died at the
hospital.
Dow was charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter.
The Bemidji Pioneer says Dow faces a maximum penalty of eight
years in prison if convicted.
