We have more information on Adam Denevan, the Grand Forks man who died of an accidental gunshot wound Wednesday afternoon.

Denevan, a father of two, was just 24 years old when he died on Wednesday. He attended Schroeder Middle School and Central High School in Grand Forks.

He participated in ROTC while in high school and then attended Northland Community and Technical College where he studied Criminal Justice. He owned his own business, Denevan Distributing, was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.

But it was who he was as a person, that friends say they will remember most.

High School Friend Jeff Cline said, "He was a standup guy. Generous, kind, caring. Always good for a laugh. If you were having a bad day. He's always the guy to put a smile on your face."

Police are still investigating the shooting and death of Adam Denevan. At this point it is believed to be accidental.
