BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The North Dakota National Guard says it's
ending flood operations across the state.
Gov. John Hoeven called up the Guard on March 15 to respond to
the flood threat, particularly in the Red River Valley of
southeastern North Dakota.
Guard members helped with sandbagging, traffic control, dike
patrol and emergency response.
Nearly 800 guard personnel were on duty during the 18-day
mission.
