The Board of Animal Health is recommending any dogs that were at the Grand Forks Circle of Friends Humane Society from March 15th through 20th be euthanized.

This comes after a dog at the Humane Society tested positive for rabies last week.

The Board of Animal Health and the North Dakota Department of Health will also be contacting people who adopted dogs that may have been exposed to the dog to advise them that their dogs should be euthanized or strictly quarantined for six months.

For the latest on the euthanizations, watch WDAZ News at 6 PM.
