The Easter Bunny made an early stop at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks today, and hundreds of kids were there to see it. Kids ages 2 to 8 came out for an Easter Egg hunt. They were ready with bags, and they rushed out onto the turf to gather as many colorful plastic eggs as they could. Those eggs were filled with Easter candy, and many kids wasted no time eating it. There were 20,000 eggs, but they went very quickly.
"Came here with my aunt so that my cousins and me could go and find the Easter eggs and it would be really fun," said seven-year old Naomi Lee.
Kids also had the chance to try to win prizes like bikes, get their faces painted, and get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny.
