Moorhead Police nab car prowler

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - A citizen called police early Monday morning after spotting someone going through their vehicle in the driveway.

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - A citizen called police early Monday morning after spotting someone going through their vehicle in the driveway.

Officers arrived at the 3700 block on 4th Street South and and gave chase shortly thereafter, catching the suspect. Authorities say Theodore Henry III was found with stolen property in his backpack. Henry was taken to the Clay County Jail. He is being held on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle, theft, fleeing a police officer on foot and possession of burglary tools.

The Moorhead Police Department remind everyone to keep their vehicles locked with valuables out of sight.
