It has been two weeks since basement in East Grand Forks were flooded with sewage and many are still waiting to find out who will pay for the damage, including the city.

As we reported in March, storm water rushed into a sewage lift station causing sewage to back up into basements around Valley Golf Course.

The city was able to eventually stop the flooding but many are waiting to hear what the city insurance company has to say.

"Right now they are in the process of reviewing the adjustor's reports and the reports from the residents. Everything else that they have out there to determine what if any liability exists on the part of the city. So they are reviewing that process right now and we hope to hear back from them by the end of the week," says Scott Huzienga, East Grand Forks City Administrator.

Huizenga says that approximately ten homeowners came forward with issues.
