From the city of Blackduck:

Due to the extremely cold temperatures and the extreme frost depth, many water lines may begin to freeze. In order to keep your service line from freezing, we recommend customers take the temperature of the cold water coming your faucet periodically.

If the water temperature is below 34°F, let your cold water run at a stream the size of a pencil continuously 24/7. Continue this until the 1st of April or until the water temperature comes back up over 35°F.

You must call Blackduck City Hall at 835-4803 to report that you are running your water. Customers that report will not be charged for the extra water used. Thank you for your cooperation.
