The Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa is back in Grand Forks Tuesday discussing the possibility of building a casino in the city. Tuesday's City Council meeting is a chance for the Turtle Mountain Band to discuss their vision for the Casino in Grand Forks.

Tribal leaders are pushing for the casino because they believe it will boost tourism in Grand Forks and help unemployment on the reservation, which currently sits at 67 percent - the statewide average is approximately 2 and a half percent. This discussion isn't a new one, it was first brought up in 2004 and then again in 2009.

Tribal leaders say it isn't only Grand Forks that needs to be convinced, they will be meeting with their own Council on Thursday.
