Hospice of the Red River Valley opened some new doors Thursday as it celebrated its new Grand Forks location.
The Ribbon was cut as community members joined staff and Chamber Ambassadors in celebrating the move and the opportunity to better serve clients and staff. The move puts Hospice up on the North end of town, close to UND.
The new facility offers more rooms for meetings and support groups. It also allows for the opportunity to bring in education from the outside.
Kathlyn Olson, Patient Care Manager said, "Looking forward to keep providing the care that we have been providing to reach out to the people in this area and give them the services that we have been giving for the last 8 years or so."
Hospice of the Red River Valley has over 200 full and part-time staff and more than 400 volunteers.
