The International Crop Expo is wrapping up in Grand Forks Thursday. With more than 176 exhibits, organizers say attendance this year was good, especially for the educational sessions.

The show doesn't lack variety. Attendees could check out new equipment, talk with vendors and gear up for the upcoming planting season.

Lionel Olson, NDSU Extension Service said, "The popularity of the show is the timing of it, middle, end of February lot is of guys are getting back in the farming mode right if you will starting to finalize their seed, finalize their fertilizer, pesticide, get ready to go for the springtime right now."

Currently 60 companies are on a waiting list to become vendors for the expo. Olson says they have no interest in expanding beyond the Alerus Center any time soon.
