Four arrested, mobile meth lab discovered

Police have arrested three men and a woman after a mobile meth lab was found in East Grand Forks.

Police have arrested three men and a woman after a mobile meth lab was found in East Grand Forks.

The four arrests were the result of several months combined investigations in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks. Joyce Austreng has been charged with consipracy to manufacture meth, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Justin Baker has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

46-year-old James Richter of East Grand Forks and 26-year-old Joseph Austreng of Grand Forks are being charged with two counts manufacturing meth.

"The result of the investigation was a traffic stop done on Wednesday morning and when that traffic stop was completed officers located a meth lab inside the vehicle," said Lt. Rod Hajicek with the East Grand Forks Police Department.

A pre-trial hearing has been set for Richter and Joseph Austreng on April 7th at 1 o'clock.
