A Fargo man has been released in Canada after being arrested on an international flight last weekend.

A Fargo man has been released in Canada after being arrested on an international flight last weekend.

35-year-old Derek Olson was charged with causing a disturbance while being intoxicated on a flight to London. Friday, a Canadian judge fined Olson about $9,000. He will also have to pay more than $43,000 in restitution to American Airlines.

Olson will be on probation for a year, during which he must abstain from alcohol. He was released and will be able to return to the U.S.
