Hundreds of people are at the Alerus Center Friday evening, for the Grand Forks Men's Show.
Set up took place earlier Friday and the doors opened at 4:00 PM. Organizers say the show has "something for the whole family." The three day event includes a huge display of boats and campers, hunting, fishing, outdoor sports, lawn and garden and more. There is also a live whitetail deer and "wing wars"- where people can sample foods from 13 area restaurants.
Sponsors tell us the Alerus is maxed out with exhibits.
Misty Paul with Leighton Broadcasting said, "We've put people on waiting lists and everybody's excited. If we could get more people in here we would but we're about as jammed as we're ever going to be."
6,000 people are expected to attend the show this weekend. Tickets are $8-Children 6 And Under are free.
