Harold Ramis, comedy great behind ‘Ghostbusters,’ ‘Groundhog Day,’ dead at 69

Feb 24 - Harold Ramis, the Chicago comedian whose films "Stripes," "Groundhog Day" and "Ghostbusters" are among the most beloved - and successful - of all time, has died. He was 69.

Ramis was surrounded by family at his North Shore home when he died overnight from a rare autoimmune inflammatory disease, his wife told the Chicago Tribune.
