The Ada-Borup school district has voted to close the Borup elementary school.
The board voted tonight to close the Borup school building and move its 70 fifth and sixth graders to the Ada school.
The move is to save the district money.
The district is $150,000 dollars in the red this year and projects it could be facing a $300,000 dollar deficit next year.
They closure of the school in Borup means the 70 students will move to Ada to go to school.
The change is effective after the end of this school year.
