BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota Gov. John Hoeven has raised

almost $1.4 million for his U.S. Senate campaign.

The Republican governor filed his Federal Election Commission

disclosure report on Thursday.

It shows $1.37 million in contributions from January through

March.

Hoeven also has loaned his campaign $100,000, and he personally

paid about $18,000 in campaign expenses.

After expenses, Hoeven has more than $1.2 million in his

campaign treasury.

Hoeven, Democrat Tracy Potter of Bismarck and Libertarian

candidate Keith Hanson of West Fargo are running for the Senate.

Hoeven is the favorite to win the seat now held by Democrat

Byron Dorgan, who is not running for re-election.
