Search Continues for Grand Forks Man

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - Authorities continue to search for the

body of a man they believe might have jumped from a Red River

bridge between Grand Forks and East Grand Forks, Minn.

The Grand Forks County Sheriff's Department says a specially

trained "cadaver dog" taken onto the water Thursday failed to

pick up a scent because of strong winds. Boat crews also have used

sonar and drag hooks without success.

The search began Tuesday after a truck driver reported that a

person might have jumped from the bridge, and authorities found

personal items on the bridge belonging to 19-year-old Delano

Gaking.
