A number of North Dakota communities are short of the seasonal flu vaccine. People looking to get vaccinated might have to wait.

There have already been shipment delays in the Lake Region.

Altru Clinic Lake Region had to postpone some of its flu vaccination clinics. It's having another a clinic tomorrow where people who made an appointment will be able to get their vaccine.

But there may not be many leftover afterwards for other people.

Manager Elonda Nord says she expects that people wanting a seasonal flu vaccine this year will be able to get one-it just may be later than usual.

The clinic got its first shipment of 1,000 doses, but the second one has been delayed.

Elonda Nord: After the H1N1 shipments go out then they will reship the rest of our seasonal flu vaccines.

This second shipment will be about 1-thousand more vaccines.

It's still unclear when those will arrive.
