Lily Oliver was born in November more than 16 weeks premature. She was just a little over one pound and lived only 35 days before she died on December 15th.
Melisa OliverBaby Died Premature: "I really wanted her to be here with us and share the life with her brothers and us."
Melisa's sister Jackie says March of Dimes supported her family and even helped make a scrapbook to remember Lily.
Jackie ScoullerNiece Died Premature: "I'm thankful for her and helping us with the scrapbooking and the healing part. If Melissa and Chris wouldn't have got the chance to scrapbook and capture those moments."
Jackie says she wanted to give back to March of Dimes and has raised over $1,700 dollars. She will walk in the March For Babies marathon on April 24th in Vancouver Washington in Lily's honor.
Jackie has two boys of her own and they won't be in Washington but they've been helping their mom practice in Devils Lake.
Jackie ScoullerNiece Died Premature: "The boys have been walking with me pretty much daily. Its them on their bikes and mom on foot and we just go until our little legs can't anymore."
Jackie leaves for Washington next week and says she can't wait.
Jackie ScoullerNiece Died Premature: "I'm excited that we're helping the March of Dimes but I'm even more excited to see my sister and be with her."
