EGF Man Sentenced For Sex Offense
An East Grand Forks man will spend about 3 months in jail for a 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct conviction.

An East Grand Forks man will spend about 3 months in jail for a 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct conviction.
Ian Peterson, 21, was sentenced to 4 months in jail, but he can spend the last 40 days of that sentence on home monitoring.
Authorities say Peterson had sex with a 14-year-old girl in East Grand Forks in June of 2009.
Peterson's sentence was "stayed" for 15 years.
He'll be on probation and will have to register as a predatory sex offender.
