Well-known Grand Forks bar owner Rae Ann Moe has died.
Her family tells WDAZ that Moe passed away this morning at Altru Hospital.
Moe owned the Hub Bar in downtown Grand Forks since 1994.
She bought the business from the family of Whitey Larson- the original proprietor of Whitey's in East Grand Forks.
Moe was a UND athlete in her day who lettered in four sports for four straight years- a rarity for a UND athlete.
Recently she was an outspoken opponent of a Grand Forks smoking ban.
Moe was 58. Funeral arrangements are pending.
The bar will be open Thursday night in Rae's honor.
