Palmer to Head UND UAS Center
Al Palmer will head UND's Center for UAS Research, Education and Training after the departure of Jeff Kappenman, who resigned to pursue other career opportunities and be closer to family.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The University of North Dakota has
named an interim director for its unmanned aircraft systems
program.
Al Palmer will head UND's Center for UAS Research, Education and
Training after the departure of Jeff Kappenman, who resigned to
pursue other career opportunities and be closer to family.
Palmer recently retired after serving for 10 years as director
of flight operations at UND's John D. Odegard School of Aerospace
Sciences. He also is a brigadier general and chief of staff in the
North Dakota Air National Guard.
